Financial Analysis
The first step in becoming a franchisee is simply meeting the minimum financial requirements. Each franchise brand has different requirements, but typically the minimum in liquid capital is $50,000 and $150,000 in net worth.

Identify Your Goals
What’s your motivation for considering a career change, and why now? What are your strengths and weaknesses? What are your expectations?
The answers to questions like these provide us with a deeper understanding to help you find your franchise fit.

Discovery Process
During discovery you will complete a comprehensive analysis of your top prospective franchise businesses.
Dive deep into the financials of the business, the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and the analysis of your territory.
Your discovery process goal is to narrow down your franchise choices to eliminate any brands that you are not interested in and focus on the best possible franchise opportunity for you.

Validation Process
Once you’ve identified the top one or two ideal franchise opportunities, it’s time to call and speak to some of the other established franchise owners who are open to sharing their experiences of working the system.
Your Franchise Fit Consultants will provide you with a list of some valuable questions for you to ask to help you through this process.
Four Sample Questions:
- What’s it like working with the franchise corporate office?
- What’s it like in a day in the life of owning that franchise business?
- How much training, and support did you get?
- How much money can you make and how long does it take to make a profit?
Your goal is to get an idea of how well they’ve done based on their efforts and how well did they follow all of the systems!

YOU DID IT!
You’ve selected your franchise brand and the franchisor has selected you! This is the big moment you’ve been preparing for… getting your Franchise Award!
While you were evaluating your potential franchise, they’ve been evaluating you as well to see if you fit their corporate culture and have the potential to be successful!
During your Franchise Award, you will sign the franchise agreement and discuss the next steps for onboarding with your new franchise family!
